Hey peeps. This is a quick little video I did that showcases the way I choose auspicious dates and as someone new to electional astrology, I wanted to share my journey, but most importantly show everyone my process and what I have learned. There is not a lot of material out there that I can find where people do this, so I thought I would take initiative and begin. I will try and do this monthly, but hopefully this opens respectful discussion about electional astrology and brings people together.
So here are a couple things I kind of left out or go over briefly:
Aries III: A Rose Aflame | Venus- Jupiter

The dignified planet is the sun, which is in Aries in the 9th. The sun in Aries is in the 3rd decan. Austin Coppock says that this decan/face is called: A rose aflame. Venus is dignified in this face. This can represent artistic skill or people who are artisans. This is a face where performances and drama intersect. Representing this face is the tarot card 4 of wands. This is about an early victory that contributes to the longer process. So in terms of this election, I suspect that if you use it, it would be good for projects that excites people.
Having a dignified planet, especially the sun in Aries which has triplicity and exaltation can mean a couple things. People think you are an arrogant son of a bitch, or you really have something to showcase. Something that reflects solar power. Valens says this about the sun: "indicates kingship, rule, intellect, intelligence, beauty, motion, loftiness of fortune, the ordinance of the gods, judgement, public reputation, action, authority over the masses, the father, the master, friendship, noble personages, honors consisting of pictures, statues, and garlands, high priesthoods".
The moon. 🌙 I think that having the Moon in Taurus is good. Even though the malefic contrary to sect is marginalized, the moon would still be widely aspecting Mars by sextile. However, after that sextile, the Moon conjuncts Jupiter. So while we want the moon in the best condition, I choose to have the Moon in Taurus because having her in Cancer would place her in a cadent house and momma needs to shine.
All this said, the sun rules the 1st house and since it is the dignified planets, I think this would also be good for identity, body constitution, and presence over all.
I know we will have an eclipse on 4/8, but people still have to do things, live, and exist. So do we just stop what we are doing?
Please kindly leave your thoughts. As someone new to this, I just want this to be a place of learning and my hopes is to incorporate more factors like planetary hours, fixed stars, decans, and explore what it means to choose elections outside the general guidelines I have. What happens when I need something for 6th house matters? So yeah, thank you for watching. 💖💖💖 If you use this election, let me know how it went.
